Dr. James Bosbotinis is a UK-based specialist in defense and international affairs with deep expertise in contemporary maritime strategy, naval and air force developments, geopolitical risks and strategy, and the connections between maritime strategy and national policy. He also has extensive experience in academic and policy-relevant research and analysis for a wide range of customers including UK government bodies. As a result of his academic and political research he is well-versed in the subject of Air and Missile Defense.

Dr. Bosbotinis earned a PhD in Defence studies from King’s College London, a Master’s Degree in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Westminster, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & International Relations from London Metropolitan University.

Since 2016, Dr. Bosbotinis has been a Director, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Strategy at Citadel Missile Systems Inc. and a Co-founder and Director of Citadel Analytics. James is based in the UK.
