James is a US-based specialist and subject matter expert in Naval Nuclear Propulsion. In 2025, he was recognized by Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin for his, “Remarkable dedication and expertise.”  In 2024, James was the recipient of the Game Changer Award from the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. His most recent NNL contributions were installed in the newest Virginia-Class submarine to join the fleet.
